I know Fox's is gone but!

Anyone besides me think he tanked it all year. It became really evident about half way thru the season. I work with a guy that has a connection with Tony Pike's family. There was alot of anomosity between those two from training camp. It seemed he would as soon put someone on IR rather than deal with the questions that were being raised. Wonder if this is why Otah never came off IR. Why should he risk getting hurt for someone that does not give a shit.

It looked to me like guys kept playing hard all year, especially on defense. Regardless of how Fox conducted himself this year, he was a lame duck and the players knew it. That had to affect things, especially when it became clear we were not going to have a good season.

Fox doesn't control who goes on IR, or certainly not this past year. FWIW Fox didn't seem to want the young QBs and Pike didn't look field ready. Team clearly cared, didn't tank. Neither did Fox. But, interesting thoughts on Pike's perspective. He is a g ood, talented kid, and like most of them, didn't deserve this terrible season.
