I told myself coming into this season that the only thing that I expected from this group of young Heels was to continue Clemson's futility streak and anything else was a bonus. I did think that they would beat dook once but figured that they would be inconsistent and didn't think that they would make the tourney.

But they wildly overachieved during the season and really only laid a couple of eggs - one of them being yesterday.

So while I am obviously bummed that the Heels are out of the dance, I'm still proud of the accomplishments they had and feel that they have laid a very nice foundation for the future.

And congratulations to George Mason - they played a hell of a game.

After Roy's little chair-slamming tantrum, I can't see how any self-respecting Heel fan can ever criticize Coach K's sideline antics. It amazes me how the coaches at high-profile teams, the "living legends," have this sense of entitlement where they think the refs should side with them.

As a Duke fan I was hoping for them to be bottom feeders this year but I have to admit they did a good job. They were much better than I expected. They looked scared to death at the end of that game with George Mason though. Too many freshmen I guess.

I didn't see it, I had to spend most of the game listening to it on the radio, but wasn't he addressing his team?

There is not a coach worth a shit anywhere that has not done something similar. I don't think that you will find any Heels fan anywhere saying something derogatory about K when he is animated talking to HIS team, but when he's doing it to the refs.

And personally, I don't really have that much of a problem with anything he does, because he is just trying to get his team the biggest advantage possible. Which is his job.

No, I think it was because K was trying to lick Wojo's nuts in live action. The issue was can't he wait until they get back to the hotel.
