Because I keep hearing ALL of them say "We give up a lot of run yards but we still find a way to win." This has been said multiple times by multiple defensive players AND coaches in interviews... they keep telling themselves this its gonna bite them in the ass.

I know that's my point they keep saying they can give up those yards and still win the game... the more confident they get that they can give up runs like that the sooner its gonna bite them in the ass.

The only stat that matters is the score and if the Panthers have more than the Eagles then I'm happy.

I think Foster will get a lot of carries even if Davis is able to play. They will both get good yards and we will have close to 200 total rushing yds.

*don't focus on the running game as much as containing the run
*Simon and Walker are banged up, with nothing behind.
*they play a rush end as a starter - Kalu can't stop the run to save his life, and trapping him outside by showing a pass stance will be the easiest thing the Panthers do, other than running out the clock at the end and hoisting the Halas.

The only one I'm really that concerned with is Simoneau. And he's there just to stop the run. If we can run outside, which should be possible, then look for us to account for him with a lineman outside of a TE or Muhammad block on Wayne/Reese, whichever will be playside depending on which side we're attacking.


I'll say this. We must make the most of these opportunities. No running out of bounds, fight for every yard. Because inside the red zone, they tighten up.

That's what we do anyway. I'll bet half of our touchdowns came from beyond the red zone.
