I managed to eek out a 7-6 record with this bunch of scrubs last year. Now I have to pick 3 keepers in the last year (thank god) of a 3 year keeper league. I managed to win the league the first year, and it's been all downhill ever since.

QB:
M. Bulger
B. Johnson

RB:
S. Davis
F. Taylor
D. Foster
T. Barber
C. Buckhalter

WR:
L. Coles
P. Burress
K. Robinson
C. Chambers
T. Glenn

TE:
D. Graham

K:
J. Kasay

D:
Panthers
Steelers

8 team league. Any advice would be appreciated.

davis, taylor, and coles/burress. good for you that it's a shallow league. it's hard to get 3 keepers out of that bunch that don't have a lot of risk involved.

QB:
M. Bulger Maybe
B. Johnson

RB:
S. Davis I am betting Foster starts stealing more and more carries from Davis
F. Taylor This would be my first choice
D. Foster
T. Barber
C. Buckhalter

WR:
L. Coles
P. Burress
K. Robinson I'd look at him
C. Chambers
T. Glenn

TE:
D. Graham

K:
J. Kasay

D:
Panthers
Steelers

QB:
M. Bulger
B. Johnson (Keep him, with Gruden builing the offense up for 2004 and alstott back + gardner they have to respect the running game so It will free up WR and now they got galloway)

RB:
S. Davis (keep to trade, alot of yards, could do better on TD's. But you should be able to pull a good trade for him. look for A.Green, Portis on Gibb's run and gun, or C.Dillon)
F. Taylor
D. Foster
T. Barber
C. Buckhalter

WR:
L. Coles (possible keeper, i think wash is going to have a good year, at least on the off. side of things)
P. Burress
K. Robinson
C. Chambers
T. Glenn

TE:
D. Graham (Drop, and try to pick up T.Gonz or Klien.)

K:
J. Kasay

D:
Panthers (Keep)
Steelers Drop

Can you drop them all and start over??? JK

I would say:

Davis
Taylor
Coles

Personally I would have drafted any of those guys except maybe Davis. I would look into some off season trades and try to upgrade a bit.

Davis skeers me, for the exact reason that PP mentioned; I see him in a role similiar to Hearst/Barlow in SF - splitting carries and being effective for the team, but a FFL nightmare.

That said, I think I will definately keep Coles and Taylor, just have to decide on that third spot.

I would probably keep Davis since running backs are so valuable. If I were going to drop him I would keep either Burress or Chambers. I think Chambers might have a huge year with Boston pulling attention away from him. He has always been decent but now he will see fewer double teams. Burress could go either way, if the Steelers return to form on offense he could be a top wide out.

Anyway you could trade one of your backs and a wide out for a better back. Davis/Taylor is not going to get you many touchdowns. Pick up Moe Williams if you can, he is a guy you can get cheap and scores a lot of TDs. I had Williams and Davis last year and Williams outscored Davis a lot.
