How do you convert a picture

when your goofey wife put the picture on a word doc? My sis in law does this as well. She takes nice photos of niece and nephew and then puts them on a word document. Here is the word document that my wife put a .gif file on it. Can someone disconnect the two?

Perfectly safe. It's a clipart from Word. I figured it out. I did a screen shot of it, pasted into paint brush and gthen trimmed it up and saved as a gif. Like this

Screenshot was good thinking. I couldn't get it to do right when just copying to irfanview.
