The Panthers are going to win, not just win, embarrass the Falcons at home.
Anything can happen, I guess. I'd be pretty stunned if we beat them. Honestly, I'm not even concerned about the W/L aspect anymore. If Cam starts acting like an adult, I'll consider this season a success.

Tee it up next Sunday in ATL, play sound football and grab a divisional road win, and we're all happy again.
No less concerned, because there are some critical points of concern from both a roster and front office perspective. Nobody here who has followed the highs and lows of the franchise at a moderately granular lebel needs affiirmation from Grantland bloggers to understand how the front office, Hurney leading the charge, has misplaced valuable cap room and resources into either the wrong or unneccesary areas.
The team is top-heavy, financially, at HB, LB. Seemingly, week in/week out, not enough snaps to get each back the required touches to justify the overall investment.
Entirely too much money tied up into Charles Johnson - and I'm a big fan - but not for that price.
The surplus of finances tied into those three areas alone have forced Rivera to deal with a thin roster in other spots. OL. DT. CB. Special Teams overall -- that unit lacks adequate blockers on returns. Coverages, as far as I can recall, have been decent thus far in '12. Adams? I mean, I'd be ok with a vet that gives you positive yards and no turnovers (Mark Jones comes to mind), but eventually (baring disaster) Adams will be a vet, and perhaps he will blossom.
Both lines have been absolutely demoralized in both losses. Schematically, credit Gilbride and staff for drawing up excellent protections for Manning.
My only issue with Cam is turnovers. All the other media-enhanced dramatics have existed almost yearly in this locker room in the past 15 years or so.
Time for Rivera notch a quality win. 1-3 gets a little depressing, ya know?
