I'm about to lose it. Here is the situation.
Upstairs I have a PC with Windows ME on it. I also have Zonealarm installed. Internet is Road Runner.

Downstairs I have a laptop.

I bought a D-Link wireless router and card to network the computers. Internet sharing was no problem. However, I can't share files. Seems the ME computer is not cooperating. Tried to uninstall Zonealarm and that has made things worse.

ANy suggestions?

I know this might sound like a dumb question, but on both computers, are you SHARING any files/folders? If not, that'll be your problem.

Yeah I have ME machine and a Windows XP machine networked with no problems. You also have to make sure that they are on the same domain ie in your case probably a work group and you have to designate files to share or a drive. Zone Alarm is not the problem.

Also everybody talks bad about ME but I have been running it for three years now without a problem. Course it's on an AMD machine rather than IBM so maybe the clue is the combination.
