HOLY SHIT

For my money, I would rather have Lavar Arrington on this defense than any other potential free agent out there. I would even give up a first rounder or two.

Lavar's a player. He's overly aggressive sometimes, but he brings it.

And he's right, IMO. That's a lot of talent they have, and after some success, they haven't responded to getting kicked in the teeth.

That falls on Spurrier. Your team quit? Well, that's your fault.

Nobody would quit on Parcells, they'd be cut on the plane, with or without a parachute.

I really wanted to catch Thompson's show today but could not. But I heard Doc this morning on the early show with Steve and Andy. He was already teeing off on the Skins - but being real careful about it too. No names or anything like that.

That team is about to rip apart at the seams it appears. The D looked like it quit in the 4th quarter. Stevil called them out. Wilbon wrote a column about it in the paper this morning.

Can't wait to bet against them in two weeks. Wish they were playing again tomorrow.

Disturbing quotes

"lavar said they never practiced a 3 TE set before the bills game when the BUCS used it on them.. the shifting confused the defense."

"Lavar agreed with what Spurrier said about the players quitting"

"I think Lavar is crying. "its not about a pay check, I would trade my paycheck to play in Sam huffs era"

"LaVar is openly weeping on the air.

LaVar said they were not prepared for the Bills offensive schemes. They used 3 TEs and no one knew what to do. Walker said Tmpa did the same thing to them."

"Guys are louder on the ride home or the pregame meal than they are in warmups"

"We take a punch aand go into a shell."

And you thought the PANTHERS had problems...

This is what Wilbon wrote this morning. That if you are going to call some players out, you'd damn well better throw someone under the bus come Monday - if not on the plane ride home like Bill or Jimmy Johnson would do.

And it was 10-7. 10-7! They just scored, and then they were either gassed, flat, or just out and out quit when it was 10-7.

That benchcoachspurrier guy has a nice set of tits in his sig line.

In theory, I'd say probably so. Lavar isn't as much of a punkass as I thought he'd be, he's a mouth but so are a lot of guys. I don't always like his interruptions. But he's somewhat of a leader. Not a Sam Mills guy, you'd still need someone to be the focal point of the players.

But he's a player. And likely someone who would excel in this scheme. If you got something for Morgan, after getting Lavar, you'd have a very fast and very experienced young LB corps, with the asterik that you'd want to draft a middle-round MLB with some speed, insurance suggesting that if Fields isn't around you can still have Witherspoon outside.
I don't know if I'd give up picks, though. And without looking I could assume that he's not a free agent. And that he'd be franchised.

Either way, this sounds terribly strange.
Hope it keeps up a while, we need that extra Skins win.
