Anybody used these? Do they work? or are there better options to extend wireless range in the home? I use my laptop and it seems to drop every 10 minutes or so, depending where I am in the house.

Mine was flaky in some areas of the house, so I borrowed a friends hi-gain antennas, tried on a desktop and the router and on both at the same time. Both at the same time made a noticeable difference, but switching to the MIMO gear made it AWESOME. MUCH bigger difference for the same money...

Definately a lot faster so far and hasn't dropped once. My router is Wireless-G although not MIMO.
Speed went from 11mbps to 54mbps.
Signal strenth went from Good/Very good to Excellent.

Well it's backwards compatible. My built in Wireless card was B. My router can do B or G. So I guess now it's using the G from the router with the new card.
The card works with MIMO as well, so if I change out routers anytime soon, I won't have to upgrade the card.
I have had it working for 3 hours so far and no drops.
