    Firing everyone is only half the equation, though. The NFL HC talent pool is very shallow right now. The best ones seem to prefer the college set up.

    GM is first. It's hard to see Tepper holding on to Hurney if he fires Ron. I like Hurney, but the Panthers need a new identity and that means a new GM as well.

    Given where he came from you’d think tepper would INSIST on strengthening the trenches, since that is where you win or lose. Instead the panthers have gotten even weaker there.
    I defy anyone here to name a current NFL team that is weaker in the trenches than the panthers. ..
    especially on the offensive line.
    This is a very weak fucking football team right now. I doubt that any team in the league sports more pussy per pound than the panthers o-line

    Let the coaches coach and then make a decision after the season. We're not anywhere close to that point right now.

    I think the coaches were relatively satisfied after the first game because it was the Rams, but now...
    How are going to feign disgust when all they have to do is look in the mirror?

    I said we'd start slow. There's actually a few more positive signs than I expected. The secondary looks better than I thought it would be, for instance. Jackson will get picked on all year, but Bradberry and the safeties look like they can hold their own. I expect the pass rush to improve.
