Hey Piper - Peach Bowl

You reckon the Vols are going to show up tonight? Or will they phone that shit in because it's the Peach Bowl and not a New Years Day game?

I was thinking of going UNDER the 47. Run, run, run, punt sounds about right for these two. If Tenn phones it in, no way the game makes it to 48.

UT is a hard team to figure out this year. They suck all the time, just sometimes they dont suck as bad as others.

I was pleasantly suprised after KY. I figured we'd lose that one. Clausen looked healed. Recievers caught balls. Houston ran with authority. This vs a very dangerous team with J-Lo, and good pass rush that scared Florida, should have beat LSU, and finished fairly well.

Maryland will be tough. Our line will have to come off their blocks and get to EJ Henderson. They are a little small up front, I think we can run againt them.

They've got a couple of good backs, some speed at reciever, McBrien is a little streaky. It will be tough. We will be healthy, though, for the first time since week one.

I'm thinking we are a little stronger in the trenches, and that will be the difference.

You could just block everything out and whine about how everyone is out to get bama.

If Maryland wins I'll talk about the ACC beating the SEC, but if Tennessee wins I'll talk about them being in a bowl game.

The fact that Tenn is healthy again is what worries me. There is no doubt that they have far better players at the skill positions and that is bad news for MD (see Fla torches MD from last year and MD/FSU this year).

I know what I am getting from MD. Decent run D and run-oriented O that uses play action a lot. I just wonder if they can run the ball against the Tenn D. Lots of passes tend to fuck an under. A nice grind-it-out 21-13 game would be perfect.

I'm also hoping Clausen will be rusty and can't hit water from a boat. That would help. I liked the line about "receivers caught balls" too. You seemed as surprised as I was about the KY game.
