HELP!!!

A friend of mine just bought a new Dell laptop...wireless router...XP...using IE...and can't view any secure pages on the internet! He can go to all of the regular pages...even the porn! Just no secure pages...

He called Dell...told to reformat....did that three times lready!

He called Microsoft...got the same answer as Dell...and still no results!

Any suggestions?

UPDATE....UPDATE...

My friend just sent me an email from a hotel in Charleston. He is using a bellsouth.net account there...BUT...he has Alltell DSL back home in Charlotte. EVERYTHING works just fine via the bellsouth.net account....so it would seem the DSL is the issue???

So...hardware...or DSL is the issue???

Brain...you posted security settings. Any suggestions on what to look for?
