Health Care sucks

I got a shot of anesthesia in my spine yesterday to see if it would help my neuropathic feet pain any. It didn't work, but a guy next to me that the shots had been helping, they sent him packing because his insurance company refused to pay anymore. I could hear them talking to him and they said he needed to contact his insurance company and "make arrangements" or come up with the money up front because the shots are so expensive. Not to mention the 3 bills you get, one from the doctor, one from the anesthesiologist, and one from the hospital who "sponsors" the pain clinic. Unreal. The poor guy was practically in tears limping out of there when he couldn't get his shot. He only had to get it once every 3 months.

I almost cussed them on the spot, except it wasn't their fault. Fucking bureaucracy. Unreal.

Yeah - the addicted - me. LOL, not really. I get my drugs for almost nothing, but if I ever lost my insurance, drugs are the only thing I'd be able to pay for besides my house and car.
