I'm sick and tired of the bitching and the woe that is falling upon many people (not singling out this board). We're 5-1 people- holy shit thats good. We are 2 games ahead in the division, have no conference losses, and have 2 road games coming up that will tell a lot about what we really are. OUR team is not perfect, no team is. Yes, we have a soft secondary- but we have won 5 out of 6 with them. Yes, we have a conservative run-oriented offense- but we have won 5 out of 6 by doing that. Yesterday was the culmination of sloppy coaching, bad bounces, and the inability of our team to come back from a 14 point lead after the first 5 minutes in the game. Not many teams can do that in this league against a team like tennessee. This team is still learning- we have yet to make it to the playoffs with this squad- we are still learning. Take into consideration that this year- we have been missing our top 2 linebackers for most of the year and that we have a green qb- and i'd take 5-1 anyday. We are what we are- 5 and 1 baby!! Go panthers and kick the saints asses this sunday!!

I agree. Being 5-0 has made everyone greedy. Who would've thought we'd be 5-1 right now? We're a pretty good football team, but I think we're one more good offseason away. We've got to have a big play wideout and at least a decent cover corner. This year is far from over with a 5-1 record and some very winnable games left on the schedule. We need to put this week behind us and worry aobut taking care of New Orleans.

We've made some plays, and we've dictated the game to some good teams, but we're sloppy, unled, and the Titans figured us out. 5-1 is something to be proud of, but I remember a team that lost to the Packers that was 3-1 and we shouldn't panic because we'll just ride Lamar Smith to the playoffs, right?

I don't think anyone actually thought Lamar would take us anywhere.

True, we aren't great.

I'm still looking for a great team in the NFC.

Titans are a bad matchup for playing just our straight up game.

Lamar Smith isnt stephen davis. This team isnt last years team. We have won the close games- games that we would have folded last year we won this year.

We are a good football team. We beat the defending champs on the road- we did what needed to be done to win. We beat indy on the road coming back from a 13 point deficit. We are a good running team, we are not a good passing team. Our defense is better than average when it comes down to it- and we have good special teams. We are a good team.

right now- most teams in the league would die to be good. i'm not saying that we are perfect- but i am happy with where we are, and i expect to see progress throughout the season.
