I would agree maybe the nfl should have a large health insurance pool and cover all players who retire after a min if three years. Primarily because their jobs do cause many problems later in life.

The health insurance part I get, but salary for eternity? Modern era Stars make enough of they manage it wisely, they should be pretty set for YEARS if not life. If they throw it all away, well they've got no one to blame but themselves. You dont NEED three mansions and if you're single or a small family, you dont need some monster palace.
