observer reports that Jordan Gross could be paid as the No. 8 overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Panthers originally held the No. 9 pick, but “moved up” when the Minnesota Vikings twice passed on their pick.


i say it's bogus, but that's how it goes down in the record book.

I think I read that Leftwich and the player Minnesota took at 9 (freightening how short my memory is) both have the same agent, so which way does he procede in negotiating those contracts?

I hope they sign him fast before the 7 and 9 picks can dictate his salary... if that is the case it can be a long holdout due to the fact the salary can be confusing

He's an agent, he's going after #7 money for both of them with contradictory arguments.
I'd almost lke to see transcripts of both those negotiations to see exactly how bad he slithers through his contradiction.
