Goings and Barlow

I forgot that Goings was Barlow's backup in college.

Maybe that's why Barlow got pissed - Goings outplayed him.

Goings - 8 carries for 42 yards. 3 rec. for 50 yards.
Barlow - 21 carries for 47 yards (2 TD's though) 2 rec for 14 yards.

We should have gone to him more early in the game, not alot more, but we were pretty predictable early on. WOuld have like to have seen more of Bennett also.

Barlow kind of stuck himself in the doghouse today, I think he pissed Ericson off. Hicks ran well for them.

I remember the front office saying that they had Goings and Barlow rated about the same - ugh. Please don't let them say that sort of thing again - ever - even if they do mean it, because that looks bad. Just say you thought much higher of Goings than most and almost drafted him.

I dunno what's worse, when they said that in 01 or when they said that Randy Fasani was their #2 QB in the draft. God only knows who they must've felt #1 was.

so who was the #2 QB in that draft? Ramsey hasn't done much. is Randy still hanging around somewhere?

The #2 QB in that draft was unquestionably Harrington. The 3 was Ramsey. McCown was generally rated in there, as well, and is still a starter. Davd Garrard was highly thought of, and some thought he should've been the heir apparent to Brunell. Randy Fasani isn't in the league after one full season of play.
