Alrighty....I must be doing something right. Idiots from every tech support all over the nation can't figure out and help me fix my problems. And I got tons.....


CD-RW not recognized by Adaptec
USB's not working
TimeWarner's NIC not found (obviously that one works now)
Sound card not found
Video adapter unable to display using more than 16 colors.


So what do I do? I reinstall my USB ports and then sound card quits. So I get that going and Roadrunner craps out. So I uninstall and reinstall the NIC. Suddenly....all my problems are gone. ALL MY PROBLEMS....including that rash that was starting to make life uncomfortable.

Damn, I'm good. Just wanted to share the news.....

If you were THAT good you wouldn't have had to troubleshoot the problem at all. You would have known the problem was your network card, it being the last installed......

I knew that was the problem...I just didn't know how to fix it. So finally...it all kinda just fell into my lap. I love it when a plan comes together.

And stop trying to burst my bubble, man....I'm still riding high on this one.

Nah, thems the bitches... We don't carry any cheap stuff anymore. No 20 GB Hard Drives or 128 RAM. Hell, you can't even get a CD-ROM anymore, it's DVD or nuthin.
