Granted winning the SB would be a great emotional boost, but it ain't building any houses or putting money in any poor folks accounts. It's a nice story as far as human spirit, but a trophy in NO will NOT fix what ails them right now. My sister and her church group are going down in the next week or two to help with clearing ruins of houses and clear for building back, and THAT will do more then today's game in the literal sense. I don't begrudge NO the NFC Championship or SB, but let's be realistic about the fact that it's an emotional boost for NO, not a cure for Katrina. If the Saints win, it will be because they play better - not because NO "deserves trophies because of Katrina".
