Clayton says he's gone.

Gilberts' career with Panthers done
Sean Gilbert's season-ending hip fracture, which will require surgery later this week, will end his career with the Panthers. Gilbert, who started the season as a backup, had thought about retiring after the season. Because of his high cap numbers and prorated signing bonus, Gilbert will probably be asked to reduce his base salary in February so that he can be released in June. By doing it that way, the Panthers can spread their cap hits over the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

This is cause for a massive celebration. We should have a parade.

Out with Giblet and the old method of quick fixes and Horribly unsuccessful FA signings (Smith, Giblet, White, Swann) and IN with Rucker, Jenkins, Peppers, Minter, Grant, Morgan, Navies, and Howard - all drafted or signed as rookie free agents.

Now let's do it on offense.

Yes, you should. If I was there, you bet your bippy I'd be in it, front and center. Well, okay, you could be the Grand Marshall, Meat, but I'd be there behind ya.

I can just picture a couple hundred (or more) circling big 'E' singing...

Ding dong the Giblet's gone
The Giblet's gone
The Giblet's gone!

Ding dong the Giblet's gone
The Giblet's gone
The Giblet's gone...

I just hope God tells him to retire, and not make us cut him so he can soak us for even more of our precious cap dollars.
Worthless, overpaid from the get-go, sack of lardass shit.
He ain't been worth a total of one game check in all the games he's played.
