I'm glad he's gonna be on somebody's roster, but can't that guy fucking do something before anybody blows any more sunshine up his ass? I've heard all year how good Duckett is, and yet he didn't play, couldn't beat out Moorehead, Carstens, Jordan.

He's still a coupla years away. He's got the talent the problem is he doesn't have the football knowledge yet. Until he has that he's GONNA be behind those 3.

• Damane Duckett, a rookie defensive end who played at North Davidson High School in Welcome before playing at East Carolina, was signed off the Carolina practice squad yesterday by the St. Louis Rams. The Rams must now keep him on their active roster, so that means Duckett could suit up against the Panthers when the Rams come to Bank of America Stadium on Dec. 12.

Duckett began the season on the Panthers' active roster, but was released and re-signed to the practice squad within a 48-hour period last month. Once a player is on the practice squad, he can be signed by other teams as long as the team that signs him places him on the active roster.

Rookie defensive tackle Damane Duckett out of East Carolina was signed off the Panthers' practice squad by the New York Giants.

Duckett was on the Panthers' active roster for the first seven games of the season before being released and signed to the practice squad.
