FWIW:

Gholston: 25 starts, 87 tackles, 30.5 for loss, 22.5 sacks, 0 forced fumbles.

Harvey: 18 starts, 91 tackles, 31 for loss, 20.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles.

Harvey has started less games, and leads in every category, except sacks. I

And he was in an SEC DEFENSE why the hell wouldn't we get him, it would be idiotic not to, could be as much as a force as Pep once he puts a lil muscle on...

They are both serious badasses, and to pass on one if he is available is completely moronic.

Great thing too, is the fact he doesnt disappear in big games-he plays better in them. Could be a defensive centerpiece for us, but shit.....the OL has to be tended to as well, and Im really torn. Still, Im leaning toward Harvey with our number 1 pick.....interesting that Fox said he wont be there.

well, he did get absolutely manhandled in the bowl game against Michigan

Thats true. While he was a force the year before vs. Ohio State, Long did punk him. Harvey has all these bad ass stats as far as making tackles at the line of scrimmage and behind it vs. the run, but he allowed three first downs vs. Michigan with runs directed at him.

Could also be a testiment to Jake Long's immense ability too. But fair point. Long dominated the guy. So if big games are talked about, that has to be in that discussion too.

We need to either find a guy who would give a Jake Long problems, or draft a T who could handle guys like Harvey.
