    The chargers team doctor was a notorious drunk that more than one player has said fucked up.

    There was a soccer player that had ankle surgery and ended up with an infection that ate his tendons team docs said it was under control with antibiotics. He has parts of his forearm grafted onto his foot now and a piece of hamstring for his Achilles

    Team doctors are by and large good but I'd get a second opinion on something major.

    I think it's very possible. The Panthers were an even bigger shitshow around that time period.
