I can agree with this post, if I defend the above, and agree with the below.

Colbert and Smart sucked, yet again.

Rucker didn't make plays out there, but he was solid. DEs don't have sacks every game. Peppers did make things happen - he had some pressures, 4 tackles, a PD. I can't be unhappy with these two.

Gamble did get picked on - how he got picked on more than Manning is beyond me. But while he gave up too much yardage (and whiffed on a pair of tackles), he did have an INT and a PD to atone. He did struggle without the blitzing, somewhat, and if he's going to sit back and sit on routes, he needs to make the damn hit/pass break up/tackle.

I think he atoned for the fumble with his overall game. That fumble didn't cause us to lose, us playing bland, not tackling and other stupid things did. Smitty is the man and played that way, he deserves some credit.

They won by three, his muff resulted in seven. He had a great game, but no dig-it game ball in a loss. IMHO

This game was played without balls, at least on defense (and sadly, in the offensive line)
