Curious to see how this shakes out, Goings would be a fine #3 RB leaving no need for Haynes/Shelton.

if you designate Goings as a RB can he also be the back-up FB? or do you keep Latsko or Steven Jackson around in that role.

Gaines continues to stink it up and has earned his release (imho) but that leaves us short at TE, and in a system that interchanges (to some degree) their TE's and FB's that further complicates what I wrote above.

Thoughts?

I was wondering last night why they were playing Goings so much. They know what they have with him after all these years.

Bring back Jermaine Wiggins!

Gaines is simply a poor blocker. He's an OK route runner, and if he had better hands that'd be neat, but he's just not as good a receiver as Rosario, or King, in that order. And they put in effort to their blocks.

It's not that Gaines lacks any physical ability either. He gets on his man and he even gets some push. He just stops.

Rosario>Gaines

I'd as well put him ahead of Gaines from what I've seen so far. King's starting to get into the swing of things but I believe Rosario's the more consistent player right now. I do have to go back and see how he's doing runblocking, because he looks so fucking small. But he did a decent job at FB when there.
