    couldn't stay in net in Buffalo, and now is stoning Carolina.

    Canes ain't making the playoffs.

    if they traded him within the East, it would haunt them. Being in LA means MAYBE seeing him 1 time a year, and them MAYBE in the SC Finals...he is a loss for sure, but not a franchise breaker.\

    THen again, dealing Pronger wasn't so smart back then either.

    So much for getting hot going into the playoffs. This playoff race is crazy, each night I can't decide who to root against. Two points out of an 8th seed, and 4 pts out of a 3rd seed---actually, that would tie them, I think the Canes have less wins. Two games each vs Tampa and Florida, how have they done against them this year?

    Hated losing JJ, but he didn't want to play here. He would have kept playing in college. We'd lose 4 years of his eligibility. We got Gleason, who Rutherford has liked for a while, and as a bonus we were able to dump Teverdovsky and his hefty salary.

    It'll hurt if JJ blooms into a star, but I think Gleason will be a solid top 4 dman.

    we got smoked by 2 of the worst teams in hockey. We obviously don't want to extend the season, I guess they're satisfied with winning it last year.

    Jack Johnson is a beast, I still think it was a mistake.
