Comments from Carolina Panthers Head Coach John Fox following the team's practice.

On if running back Stephen Davis practiced on Friday: Yes.

On how Davis looked: He did fine.

On if Davis will play against Philadelphia: He will be listed as questionable. I will make that announcement an hour and a half before kickoff.

On closing practice to the media: There were just so many foreign members of the media around this week that I thought it was the right thing to do.

Short but to the point... the media close off had less to do with the number of people there than it had to do with keeping Stephen Davis's condition under wrap
