OUCH
Speaking of runners, Jamal Robertson looked better than second-round pick Eric Shelton for the Panthers in the Giants' game. There are rumblings within the Panthers that Jacobs might have been the better choice. Shelton definitely hasn't wowed his coaches yet.

well, if davis comes back he's about 5th team. that's either ps or cut isn't it, i mean if we didn't spend a 2nd on it.

if we hadn't spend a 2nd on him, then yes he'd probably be cut.

if we can see robertson with the first team friday night for a while, and he handles his bidness, fuck it, i say cut our losses. i'd much rather have goings than shelton. you can't replace guys like goings.

Shelton still has a ton of upside. You just can't cut your ties that easy. Especially with Foster being a FA at year's end.

Robertson does seem to have the same role as Foster. He's quick and shifty with a bit o break away.

Davis/Foster = Thunder/Lightning Varisty?
Shelton/Roberston = Thunder/Lightning Junior Varisty?

Where does that leave Smart?

We'll keep Going, Hoover, and probably Cramer but now it's getting really crowded back there.

Is just me or does Robertson's hard running style remind anyone of a certain undrafted FA running back we had a while back that met a very untimely death?
