On injuries: Well, fucking Moose ended up with some rib issues from that hit by Dawkins. He's going to be nursing that shit for several weeks, which is neat, considering Hackett's fucking retarded toe ain't healing for shit. On why he cancelled Tuesday's practice: Historically, I will do things based on how I percieve my team feels about me. Lately, I think they think I'm a bit of an asshole. Giving them a day off, while not ideal, will make them like me more. I like being liked.
On how Thomas Davis is doing at weakside linebacker: Well, funny you ask. He's actually looking more active than ever--flying around, making plays. Makes me wonder why the fuck we didn't do that last year, or the year before, or the year before. On if he expects Davis to have a big season: Well, they're all big.
On still being in training camp mode even though training camp is over: We feel it's important to always stay in training camp mode. Particularly in our home openers. I would expect no less this year when we blantantly kick to Hester to "send a statement".
On moving Jordan Gross to left tackle: Not like I had a fucking choice in the matter. I mean, I love Otah, but he's a fucking ape. He can't move his fucking feet--he's what we refer to in the business as a one-trick fucking pony. Bridges--well, he was an option, but he after I saw Marcus Spears throatgag him with his cock in 2006, I decided it might be best to move away from that.
On the progress of rookie safety Charles Godfrey: Look, ok--we needed to have Minter back out there. But since I couldn't sway him out of retirement, I just drafted another Big 12 DB, slapped Minter's number on him (against Minter's request not to), and clinging onto the hope that he will pick off the Bucs and run it back for a TD, just like Mike Minter did in 2003. Aside from that, I thought it was kinda neat that he has a Houston Texans logo on his hand, and he's one of the few negros with colored eyes. I'm all for that shit.
