In your opinion, based on team needs which guy's team seems to be making the best of free agency? (Aquisitions, not resigns). I may have missed a few.

Very similar philisophiclly. all guys who have something to prove. He's just addressing their needs.

Jags need an outside speed rusher. Enter Hugh. It's apparently a requirement for teams in the AFC South to have small pass rushing ends. I guess te Texans will have to take Suggs then.

Douglas didn't come cheap though. He'll want to prove to the Eagles that he was worth what they were not willing to spend.

Peterson is a good signing. He realy came on last season for the Colts, but cap problems kept them from keeping him. Unlike the Colts, the Jags have two huge DT up front to shield. A fast weakside player who wants to prove he can be an elite player.

Mitchell has to prove he hasn't lost his 2001 form to injury and age. He'll play Mark Fields in JDR's scheme. Akin Ayodele may be moved back to DE, as a situational pass rusher.

They just need that MLB, or maybe CB to go with Fernando and they'll be real good on D. They'll be a competitive defense.

Their O is another matter. Some youth is needed to spark the fragile three of Brunnell, Taylor, and J-Smooth. They'll go Andre if he's available.

Both have done well. No need to compare the 2 when these teams are in entirely different situations and have entirely different needs. We filled holes and so did they. Thats it.

I don't know that ANYONE has done better so far in free agency than the Panthers.
