works wonders. I get one every winter in the same spot. Valtrex speeds up the healing but is not a cure. Buy some Abreva too. It;s over the counter and will also help speed things up.

I wish I got them once a year. Probably more like 4-5. It must be my stress outlet. I called in the script so never talked to doctor or pharmacist. Friends say to take two when you first feel one coming on and then some 12-24 hours later. Any idea? Oh and Abreva hasn't done squat

When you feel one coming on, put some Windex on the affected area with a Q-tip....repeat every four hours.
