First no heart, now no attitude

From Reed's column:

“When we went back out in the second half there it didn’t seem like we were the same team, period,” said Panthers linebacker Na’il Diggs. “And we’ve had our instances last year where we did the same thing against teams that weren’t as good and it cost us. And it cost us today. I think we played great in the first half. I don’t think anybody is going to complain about how we played in the first half.

“We didn’t come in here at halftime and put any capes on and they didn’t put any capes on. Nothing changed from the first half the second. But we come in here and it seems like we go to sleep. Then we go without the same tenacity and we don’t do anything the same as we do the first half. After a successful half, we don’t do the same things in the second half. And that’s just attitude. To me we need an attitude adjustment.”

there was a change, but as much as anything, that TD drive before the half really hurt.

This happens to this team. It's beyond my rationalization. Something like an INT that gets overturned on replay, a missed FG, and even though things are winnable they just get down. It doesn't make any sense, but it happens. The team believed they could do this, they could pull off something that hasn't happened in a good while. Then things started to go just a little bit out of the way and the bottom falls out.

Then again they survived the Robinson fuckup and were just fine.

The Colts are a much, much better team than the Panthers are. It's really that simple.

I fucking hate it when Collin is right. They are a much better team than any other team in the league except the Patriots. It's becoming a Yankees vs. Red Sox kinda thing. Not good for the league IMMFHOAH.

That's the point exactly. This game isn't one I thought we'd win, but had hoped for a decent showing. It doesn't hurt us that much as it's not a conference game.

That is true but we held them in check for most of the first half. After they took the lead our level of effort dropped off. If Vinny does not throw that pick and we are tied at half time then the game is probably much closer in the end.
