order looks a bit off...

1. Oakland – JaMarcus Russell….all the physical tools are there, and quite frankly, he has a higher upside than Brady Quinn
2. Detroit – Brady Quinn….Matt Millen resists the urge to select Calvin Johnson, and gets his QB of the future…he will sit behind Kitna for at least 1/4 of the season
3. Cleveland (assuming they get this spot) – Adrian Peterson….There will be all kinds of pressure to select Troy Smith. However, they will go the safe route and get a legitimate workhorse/homerun threat in AP
4. Tampa Bay – Calvin Johnson….quite simply the best athlete in the draft…no excuses anymore for Mr. Simms…gotta justify getting that extension
5. Arizona – Joe Thomas….best O-Lineman in the draft, and Lord knows the Cards need line help in the worst way…could they move him to the right to protect Leinart’s blindside?
6. Washington – Jamaal Anderson…Defense is a major need, and there is pressure to select either Gaines Adams or Alan Branch…but, they see a lot of Julius Peppers in Anderson and make the surprise pick
7. Minnesota – Teddy Ginn….With Marcus Robinson off the team, they want to fill a void on the offensive side of the ball (WR)…Ginn has too much promise, and he will be taken here…although Jarrett is given consideration
8. Houston – Alan Branch….Houston is making a major push in re-tooling their defense…Mario Williams, DeMeco Ryans, and Duanta Robinson provide a nice little core…Branch gives them an athletic big man in the front four
9. Miami – Darrell Revis….dude is a playmaker, and makes a surprising jump over Leon Hall as the 1st CB taken in the draft…
10. Atlanta Falcons – Dwayne Jarrett….Bobby Petrino sees this guy as too intriguing of a prospect to let slip through the cracks…gives Mike Vick yet another weapon…
11. San Francisco – Gaines Adams….He gives the 49ers a lot of speed off of the edge, and a legitimate threat to get close to 10 sacks in his rookie year
12. Buffalo – Levi Brown….Bills need offensive line help, and with Losman developing into a nice QB, Brown can provide a little stability to that offensive front
13. St. Louis – Quentin Moses….he gives the Rams a good 1-2 combo w/ Leonard Little…defense is a need, and if he isn’t drafted here, look for a LB to be taken
14. Carolina – Patrick Willis….who knows what the status of Dan Morgan is…so, they take Willis here at #14. Him and Thomas Davis immediately become 2 of the hardest hitters from the LB position in the NFL…
15. Pittsburgh – Tony Ugoh....just a pick of depth purposes...also it can't hurt to have another O-Lineman to protect the franchise (Big Ben)...
16. Green Bay – Marshawn Lynch….Tick Tick Tick….that’s the sound of time running out on Ahman Green
17. Jacksonville – Reggie Nelson....this guy can come right in and spell Deon Grant from his starting position..he is a solid S who would do well paired with Donovan Darius...can't go wrong w/ the local kid also...a true playmaker
18. Cincinatti – Quinn Pitcock….very good against the run, and will bolster the Bengals defense…
19. Tenessee – Robert Meachem….they go for the local kid in hopes that he gets a good repoire w/ Mr. Vince Young…
20. NY Giants – Amobi Okoye….they take the 19 year old senior here at #20…Defense is a glaring need, and a CB could be an option here as well
21. Denver – Daymeion Hughes….8 INT's no matter what the level is impressive….With the unfortunate passing of Darrent Williams, the CB position could be a glaring need...
22. New England – Laron Landry...Asante Samuel is gonna be testing FA and might leave, so CB could be a choice here...but, Rodney Harrison isn't getting any youngers and has gotten hit w/ the injury bug as of lage
23. Dallas – Michael Griffin….help in the secondary is on the way….he is better in coverage than Roy Williams, and thus this allows big #31 to play closer to the line…
24. Kansas City – Leon Hall...he will start at the nickel, but eventually move to the starting CB position (but over who?)...Surtain and Law aren't getting any younger...a QB could also be a option as well...Would Drew Stanton be a reach? Possibly...but, he can learn under Green for a year or two...
25. New Orleans – Lawrence Timmons…steal of the draft…this dude will be a starter from Day 1, and a serious contender for DROY
26. NY Jets – Michael Bush…Can Bush carry the rock 20-25 times a game? He has a huge upside because of his pass receiving abilites as well...he takes the Willis McGahee route to being drafted in round 1
27. Philadelphia – Paul Posluzny…they take the PSU star here at #27, and he provides immediate relief in the LB corps….depth at the S position is also considered, but do they take a flyer on Brandon Meriweather, Aaron Rouse, or Tommy Z?
28. New England – Jeff Samardzija….Charlie Weis sings the high praises of Samardzija, and he goes in the 1st….he goes late because of his wavering on the baseball/football decision
29. Indianapolis – Buster Davis….Cato June is as good as gone (IMO) in free agency…Davis slips this far because of his size…however, this Sam Mills clone is the real deal...
30. Baltimore – Troy Smith….Boller is not the man in Baltimore, and they figure they can get depth at the LB position (because Thomas is a FA) in a later round....Smith will learn under McNair for a year or two, before given the keys to the car
31. Chicago – Greg Olsen….he has the potential to be a better pro than college player…question is, can the QB get him the ball?
32. San Diego – Eric Weddle…the versatility of this guy is truly intriguing…he rounds out the 1st…a WR could also be considered here as well (Sidney Rice)…

I wouldn't be upset if they took Willis but Landry is who I'd like to see. Would be good either way though.
