Evidence, proof, whatever. It was a damn designed play.

“It’s something we thought was there and we had the opportunity,” said Fox. “We didn’t execute it as well as we needed to and it was a big play. Then we stop them and they fake a field goal on us that goes for a touchdown.”

So lets be done with saying Fox was being a hero for Gamble, and taking the blame. It was a fucking play, he fucked up, the staff fucked up, and I hope in five years, we dont have to say we didnt have back to back winning seasons. If so, hes no God damned different than your average fucking whistle toting asshole who calls himself a coach.

We have way too much talent in key areas to keep having these stupid fucking "losing streaks". Fucking bunch of God damned morons.

Fox was in on the call. Gamble executed it poorly and it wasn't a good play to call anyway. I have no idea why people would rather call him infalliable and a liar than admit that mistakes happen.

If anything, our hero seems to be roasting Gamble a little.

We thought we had an opportunity, but it wasnt executed as well. Doesnt look like hes falling on any sword to me, although he should. A fucking real one.

This reminds me of that option pass that William Floyd ran against the Saints in 1998 that was picked off and led to a horible season.

I am not ready to fire anyone but it was a very dumb call. I have started to wonder what it might be like to have a different set of coaches. Imagine if Peppers were free to get after the QB every play. I think he is wasted when we use him in those zone coverage schemes. I have also thought that our offense might also be a lot better if we used the tight end in the passing game and put more emphasis in our short and intermediate passing game rather than being so focused on either a long pass or a run.

You can throw to TEs??? Since when? (sarcasm)

In Fox's defense, I heard that the staff called the 'statue of liberty' play late in the third quarter and Fox quickly put the nix on that......

Postgame Quotes
Head coach John Fox

On the special teams plays in the fourth quarter that turned the game around: There’s no question. You can put the fake punt return on me. There’s nothing that happens decision wise that doesn’t go through me. It’s something we thought was there. We had the opportunity and we didn’t execute it as well as we needed to. It was a big play. And then we go out there defensively and stop them, and then they fake a field goal on us for a touchdown. Again, I just feel bad for our players. They came out and they gave everything. Unfortunately it didn’t end up like we wanted it to.
