Peppers is stepping up into a leadership role. He was constantly pointing at guys and clapping when they made plays, stirring the crowd up waving his arms and clapping. I just love him.

Means nothing, but Colbert made a sweet catch on the sidelines in warm ups. Ball was on it's way out of bounds, Colbert planted both feet and literally got 10 finger TIPS on the ball and pulled it in.

Love that they introduced Smith last. Those not there, when Kasay came out right before the team intros, he got a LOUD standing O by that end of the field. (Oh yeah and when the crowd clapped, Kasay took off his helmet & tipped it at the crowd in thanks)

Don't look now, but here come the Panthers in the NFC South. Nobody in the NFL climbs out of a self-created hole better than John Fox's guys. Carolina is 2-2, headed for 12-4.

I'd be surprised at 12-4, but it's certainly possible. Picking it up and winning a couple that took some fortitude, whether it should've or not, is a good sign.
