From GBNreport.com:

(6:00 PM): WRs scorch 40 dash...Neil Stratton of Inside the League is reporting that a trio of WRs put up eye-catching 40 times to highlight today's combine workouts in Indinapolis. Texas Tech WR Carlos Francis led the way posting a 4.31, while Samie Parker of Oregon crossed the line in 4.34 and Wisconsin's Lee Evans clocked a 4.37.

yeah, I saw that earlier. This draft is so deep at WR though, and the number of Defensive linemen taken will still cause someone good to be there at 31 if WR is the direction we go.

How many WRs get picked ahead of us???

The only mock that I have seen with more than 6 WRs going before our pick is Pipers (7). Maybe Evens gets taken before we pick but at least one top tier WR will still fall to us. Any of them would be a kick-ass pick for us at 31.

1- Larry Fitzgerald, 6-3, 225, Pittsburgh
2 - Roy Williams, 6-3, 210, Texas
3 - Mike Williams, 6-5, 230, USC
4 - Reggie Williams, 6-4, 220, Washington
5 - Rashaun Woods, 6-2, 190, Oklahoma State
6 - Michael Clayton, 6-4, 185, LSU
7 - Michael Jenkins, 6-5, 210, Ohio State
8 - Lee Evans, 5-11, 190, Wisconsin

I'd prefer someone like Maurice Brown or at least someone with Moose's size. Something like 6'3 and 215-220. I don't think we need a Steve Smith clone at this point, we need a possession guy to groom.

edit: I don't mean Mo Brown in the 1st though. :D

Fox mentioned wanting "smart, tough football players"

Kids like Witherspoon Manning Gross and Delhomme (& Nelson?) have spoiled Fox.

Good.:D
