ESPN giving mad props to Panthers...

PTI had Carolina Panthers as their 2nd topic in today's show...Kornheiser is still not convinced that Carolina is for real, but Wilbon said that if he was to publish a power ranking, he would put KC at 1 and Carolina at 2, and he wasn't sure about that!

Panthers was also brought up on Around the Horn. Bill Plaschke of the Los Angeles Times made a bold prediction that Carolina could very well take Home Field Advantage throughout the NFC playoffs because of the easier schedule, 7 of last 10 games against teams with a losing record.

I was cooking at a resturant in Boone August of 95 and listening to the first pre-season against JAX game on the radio. I wasn't a very good worker that night. I've been on board since that night.

Michael Irvin on ESPN radio today, asked pick one in life or death, Minnesota, Carolina, or KC...he said Minnesota looks good because of the scoring, and Moss and alll that, BUT there's just NO WAY you can go against Carolina.
