They offered close to what the Bears offered.

makes sense to me. Turns out, his United Way commercial was prophetic . . . maybe he really DOES think he’s the best receiver in the league. He put up numbers to support that notion last year and with Smitty back he was probably looking for a place where we wouldn’t have to split his stats. IMO he has made an ill-advised gamble on Grossman. I believe they were rated as the worst offense last year (or close to it). Without a proven QB and leader at the helm how does Moose stay "the greatest"?

I thought it was funny that the Bears' coach said one of the reasons he cut David Terrell was because he celebrated too much after meaningless receptions.

The coach, Moose and about everyone in the NFL are professional liars as well as athletes.

Wow. Very forceful words. I should make sure to lash anyone who wanted him here and didn't immediately jump to conclusions to cover for the team. If you point me toward today's batch of whining, I'll chastise them. I'm pretty damn sure it had passed.

You know no more about the offer than I. Clayton said it was close - I'd like to see how close. Either way, it's a business, and those willing to say it was a business when we cut him should be as willing the next day.
