Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets have agreed on compensation for Jets' head coach Herman Edwards with the Chiefs surrendering a fourth-round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft to the Jets in exchange for the rights to hire Edwards.

Yep the Chiefs have been allowed to talk with Herm and settle on a contract if they wish. They sign him it cost the Chiefs a 4th
