    It's a shame that Dustin Johnson lost his chance to win the PGA but he screwed up and that's the bottom line. Every player knows that every course has some local rules that supersedes USGA rules. It's the responsibility of the player to know what they are. Yes, it's nuts for a bunker outside the ropes with footprints and tire tracks to not be a waste bunker but that's the way they played it.

    I just hope the fact that he made such a mistake ruin his career. The guy led the US Open going into the final round and shot 82, he led the PGA by a shot going to the 72nd hole.
