Duke might vote against ACC expansion...

it's all about the two divisions and how they work it out.

even if duke votes no, it wont matter. even if duke AND unc vote no, it wont matter.

It takes at least 3 nay votes if I remember correctly. Do you know Larry?

Duke realizes that 3 more schools in ACC football and they could probably never win another conference game again . . That's why they are against expansion!!!!!!

Also, with the division setup, you can keep the Tobacco Road schools together . . . . Why haven't anybody suggested this setup . .

ACC EAST: Duke, UNC, NC State, Wake, Maryland, Boston College

ACC WEST: Ga Tech, Miami, Florida State, Clemson, Virginia, & Syracuse

Yep . . . The ACC prefers a uniamous 9-0 expansion vote . . John Swafford wants to make sure nobody else changes their mind during the expansion and suddely, its 6-3 for expansion and then all bets are off!!!!!!!!!

If UVA knows that Duke and UNC are no, then they hold the swing vote. Would they tell Swofford that they will vote no if VA Tech's not one of the teams.

I'll bet you if John Swafford keeps the Tobacco Road schools together, UNC & Duke will switch their votes . . . UVa votes no because they want Va. Tech, but at 8-1 its a moot point . . . Expansion gets approved . .
