Does anybody know much about Linus Kleiza?

Supposed to be a very tough guy down low. He would see minutes next yr if he came to Carolina. Suppose to have a very nice hook and is a windex type rebounding fiend. Could play some center if he absolutely had too.

Linus Kleiza, Montrose Christian: Kleiza's coach called him "the best player nobody knows about" and you aren't going to find any arguments here. The burly 6-8 power forward showed the athleticism to make some wicked blocks and really eleveate well for his size. I wouldn't besurprised to see his name creep up next summer as a late emerger, ala Brad Buckman.
Darryl Watkins (Catholic/Paterson, N.J.) remains one of the two impact tunas left on the board. North Carolina and Kentucky are putting on their best face for the 6-10 Watkins. Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Villanova are also still in the mix. Look for North Carolina's stock to move a lot higher with the hire of Roy Williams. Only fly in the ointment is a supposedly sketchy transcript.
Top 100 player, 6-7 power forward Linus Kleiza (Montrose Christian/Rockville, Md.) is technically available. Kleiza has been rumored to be Missouri bound for a long time, but has not put it out there yet.
Linas Kleiza showed why he was this year’s biggest omission from the McDonald’s game when he went for 16 and 10 at the Capital Classic. Kleiza’s decision on where to play his college ball has taken quite a while and it could take even longer.

Linas a 6'8 Power Forward has traveled alltheway from Lithuania to play High School Basketball for Montrose Christian in Rockville.Linas is only a Junior and many area already saying he is the best player in the area.The big guy averages a double - double at 20.4 ppg and 10 boards a game.Only more great things to come from Kleiza.By:Allen Myers

Thanks for the information, that was a lot more than what I was able to find while at work. Seems like he would be a really nice addition that could help right away.

Yep - I heard that Roy isn't high on Watkins for whatever reason. I really hope this guy comes here. We need a big guy in the worst way in my opinion. With this guy and May - at least we have some beef.
