the guide has been off the past few days, hasn't it? it said the panthers game was supposed to start at 1 p.m., so i casually flipped by at about 12:30 -- and there's the panthers-skins game! with 11 minutes to go in the first quarter.

i popped the tape in and started taping before they were even done arguing about that call.

i watched some, but i get to REALLY watch it tonight. :)

Dude, you seriously need to get a DVR. Tapes are so 2003.

christmas, maybe. i don't get to keep up with the gadgets now that i've got two kids...

but that still would have messed up the recording.

Damn Larry, we were perfectly syncronized. I started taping at that point as well...Twilight Zoneish, eh!

I think they adjust the schedule to show the entire game...sometimes they go longer than anticipated.

the buffalo game last night will be re-broadcast on the nfl channel...without announcers...they had about 12 players wearing mics and that will be the audio of the broadcast....If I remember right, it will be on the 22nd.

I tivoes every game the NFL network put on including tonight and tomarrow night so I could get a better idea about differant guys. Anyway, I noticed that problem on a few games.

FWIW, Charles Rogers last years Detroit rook WR had a very good game and looks like a complete stud. Harrington looked good as well.

I still have 2 or 3 games to review from the weekend including the Panthers game

I'm sure 90% of this board was watching the panthers game...but, Saturday night they (the NFL network) kept rotating live feeds from all of the games going on....which was pretty cool.

notice what happened after the steelers decided to bracket him with a safety? pinner took a short swing pass on a 3rd and 8 for 11 yards. that is an example what rogers, williams, and streets on the field at the same time do to open things up. last year, that would have been a 5 yard gain tops.
