The Observer mentions a trade rumor? of their 1st round not sure if it's this years #2 overall for either. In a minute I'd make that trade and then draft the Nebraska DT Suh since it looks like the Rams will take Bradford

Our RBs are proven, and inexpensive things you can't say about Suh or McCoy (who would fit better with Meeks).

And Detroit would be stupid to make that trade (insert "which is why they'd do it!" joke here) why let Okung out of your hands for a guy that will get killed running behind your crappy line and covering up for your new QB.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Carolina Panthers have fielded several trade inquiries about linebacker Dan Connor this offseason, according to league sources. But the sources say the Panthers have made it clear to other teams that they’re not letting Connor go.

Although Connor has been mostly a backup and special-teams player in his first two seasons, he is expected to compete for a starting job this season. The Panthers released veteran linebackers Na'il Diggs and Landon Johnson last season.

In recent days, coach John Fox and general manager Marty Hurney specifically have mentioned Connor as a player they expect to step up this season. They also have mentioned linebacker James Anderson as another player who has a chance to earn more playing time this season.


Interesting. Doubt we got any serious offers. Its somewhat encouraging that other teams are into him.

Connor is a highly tauted prospect, not surprised other teams have called. I am surprised that we're not interested in trading him since we only have 8 pics this year.

John Fox all but letting out a "why the fuck would I trade one of my RBs?" statement today, emphatically stating he wants them both.

Interesting on Connor. I know he's a part of the plan but he's not irreplaceable.
