Davis has been in a Panther uniform for three games, and his 406 yards already rank No. 8 on the team's all-time rushing list. Current Panther Brad Hoover (492) will be next to fall. The top six are Tshimanga Biakabutuka (2,530), Fred Lane (2001), Anthony Johnson (1,795), Derrick Moore (740), Lamar Smith (737) and Richard Huntley (655).

Lane was killed, and the others are out of football.

At this year's pace, Davis could be no worse than No. 3 before the season ends.
