The Jets also remain interested in Dolphins' DE David Bowens, who has 18 sacks in the last three seasons. The two sides are still working on an agreeable number.

Two other teams, believed to be Carolina and New England, are interested as well. And, Bowens has not ruled out returning to the Dolphins.

Jets | Team agrees to terms with Bowens

Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports the New York Jets agreed to terms with free-agent DE David Bowens (Dolphins) on a three-year contract, according to an NFL source. The source said the contract is worth more than $6 million. Bowens could earn up to $8 million with escalators in the deal.
