Computer Question

Sooner or later I need to replace my ancient computer. I have a Gateway which I've really had no trouble with though many said don't get Gateway. I've heard several folks say the new MS Windows Vista is full of bugs and they can't run some of their programs properly and several dial up users say they can't log on at all anymore.

I do a lot of e-mailing, several message boards, fair amount of googling just for my own use not work related at all. Lots of photographs, Word documents and I think I have MS Printshop that I've done some very simple handout folder stuff with about pet vaccines and that sort of thing.

I don't need some super business system, but I also don't want just basic minimum. And there's also the possibility eventually that I might need to link to work (Veterinary Hospital running Avimark) if I take the Practice Manager position.

she had got to where she took a while to load up back a few months ago but I solved that problem by just not cutting the girl off.
