    Thanks to a last minute ticket hook up (via Brian from 'the Firm') I headed out to the old alma mater this afternoon (UNC Charlotte) to watch them take on Florida International (FIU) . .. . Charlotte still had slim hopes to win enough games (6) to get their first ever post season bowl bid if they won their last 2 games . . . . .

    The green and gold gave a good effort today but lost 42-35 ; Their first post season bowl bid will have to wait another season kids :( :( :( :( :( . . . ..
