Both likely to end up on IR, we have plenty of depth at both positions so what would you do with the two roster spots?

Here's a S:

Cowboys | M. Coleman released from team
Sat, 11 Nov 2006 17:29:29 -0800

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Dallas Cowboys S Marcus Coleman has been released from the team. Coleman was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Saturday, Nov. 11, according to media reports in Dallas. Coleman reportedly failed a sobriety test and sources told KTVT-TV that Coleman was released shortly after posting a $500 bond.

No to Coleman. Too much baggage.

Shulters is available again. Honestly, unless we have a horrible depth problem, like we're wiped out at a position, I doubt anyone we bring in would help that much. Probably promote from the PS.

We did bring in Bridges, but that was almost a wipe out at OT, it was early, and it was just flat remarkable that it's worked out.

The exception could be a STs player. You can plug those guys in.

We could sign someone off someone else's PS, but that would be for next year, really.

someone else's PS player doesn't have to be for next year. And if Howard's not coming back this year, we really need a corner.
We're carrying 5 S and 10 OL overall, so I don't see us moving anyone in at those spots.

Rams | Reed released
Tue, 14 Nov 2006 23:37:32 -0800

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports St. Louis Rams S J.R. Reed has been released from the team.

not sure that he's a better returner or DB then what we already have, but he's available.
