Nice shorthanded goal there - good effort

They would be tied right now if Belanger didn't assist that last Islander goal

Clank - Justin Williams w/ a PP goal off the crossbar. He's on fire lately, eh?

    That was a trip, not a hip-check

WTF? Did anyone else see Blake kiss Silinger on the lips after his goal? Silinger was lying on the ice and he skated over, bent down and kissed him.

4-3 Islanders in OT - power play goal

Special tems was the key tonight. WIllimas with a SH and a PP goal
Tripp wraps up the game by whining about officiating as always.

I'm watching the Pens-Blue Jackets game now and the announcers are actually worse homers than Tripp. New teams always have the biggest homers for announcers. You should hear the poor color guy trying to pronounce Evgeni Malkin's name.

Canes fans may give a shit about this post

Speaking of the Pens, Jordan Staal scored shorthanded tonight, and was pulled down on another short handed break away that lead to a penalty shot. He scored on that, which counted as a short handed goal, so that's 3 goals for Staal this year, all short handed. He really is amazing on the penalty kill, always finding chances.
